"Abitare Barberini" is situated in one of the most central areas of the city, near Quirinale Palace, once the official residence of Pope and now of the President of the Italian Republic. Just out of Via Rasella is Palazzo Barberini, beautifully decorated, containing one of the most important galleries of paintings.
The building of "Abitare Barberini" belongs probably to the 16th century.
A special effort was made to respect the original outlook. Thus the old "cassettoni" ceilings, many pieces of furniture, the paintings of the 18th century have been kept. All this help giving a sober and elegant aspect to the six suites in the building. Each of them consists in a living room, a king bed room, a small dressing room. The bathroom are equipped with showers and the kitchens are decorated with beautiful Roman marble slabs. Every care has been taken to make living there confortable and pleasant.
